NYC BALLET ARTIST SERIES: Marcel Dzama Dance Installation

For his 10th ballet for NYCB, Justin Peck tackles his most ambitious work to date –The Most Incredible Thing. Featuring a cast of more than 50, Peck collaborates with composer Bryce Dessner (The National) and contemporary artist Marcel Dzama to bring Hans Christian Andersen’s dark 1870 fairy tale of the same name to the stage.

To celebrate the launch of the new ballet in collaberation with Marcel Dzama, we created a multi media installation to be displayed larger-than-life in Lincoln Center. Working under Choreographer Vanessa Walters, we collaborated for a 2 day shoot with Marcel Dzama, starring Amy Sedaris, at Brooklyn Fireproof Stages.

The video installation premiered to a packed house for Marcel Dzama's opening at The David Zwirner Gallery in February.
